General information

Rently provides car rental services in Sweden. All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and driver eligibility requirements.

Pricing & payment

All prices are in SEK including VAT (25%).

• Prices shown during booking include all mandatory fees
• Optional add-ons (child seats, GPS, etc.) are priced separately
• The full rental amount is charged at the time of booking
• A security deposit may be authorized on your card at pickup

We accept Visa and Mastercard. All payments are processed securely through Nexi Group.

Booking & delivery

• Bookings are confirmed immediately upon successful payment
• You will receive a confirmation email with your booking reference
• Vehicles are available for pickup at the selected station during opening hours
• You must present a valid driver's license and ID at pickup
• If the booked vehicle is unavailable, we will provide a comparable or upgraded vehicle

Driver requirements

• Minimum age: 20 years (24 years for premium vehicles)
• Valid driver's license held for at least 1 year
• Valid identification document (passport or national ID)
• Additional drivers must meet the same requirements and be registered

Right of withdrawal (Ångerrätt)

You have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day the contract was concluded (booking confirmation). To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by email to info@rently.nu before the withdrawal period expires.

If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you within 14 days using the same payment method used for the initial transaction.

Important: If the rental period has already begun, the right of withdrawal no longer applies for the portion of the service already provided.

Cancellation policy

• More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund
• Less than 24 hours before pickup: One rental day will be charged
• No-show: No refund

Fuel policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. The vehicle must be returned with a full tank. If not returned full, fuel costs plus a refueling service fee will be charged.

Insurance & liability

All rentals include basic insurance coverage. The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle up to the deductible amount stated in the rental agreement. Optional coverage to reduce or eliminate the deductible may be available.

The renter is fully liable for damages caused by negligence, violation of traffic laws, or use of the vehicle outside the permitted terms.

Geographic restrictions

Vehicles may only be driven within Sweden unless prior written approval is obtained. Driving abroad without approval voids all insurance coverage and may result in additional charges.

Personal data & card information

We collect personal information necessary to process your booking and fulfill the rental agreement. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Card payments are processed securely by Nexi Group. We do not store your full card number. All transactions are encrypted and comply with PCI DSS standards.

Disputes & governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be resolved by Swedish courts. For consumer disputes, you may also contact Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN).
